APOC @ EF! Summer Event

All Anti-Authoritarian People of Color (APOC) are invited to attend two proposed caucuses at the Earth First! Summer Rendevous in Athens, OH. The first proposed APOC caucus is for Friday, July 4th starting at 12 PM noon (during lunch) and the second on Saturday, July 5th (during lunch).

As the Anti-Authoritarian People of Color caucuses, reportbacks and statements are becoming more and more present at anti-authoritarian gatherings in the US, there has been more and more very open and forward white supremacy coming from the radical left. Sorry, white progressives and white radicals but we (people of color) aren’t going to take this shit from you ALL without a fight.

“Any serious discussion of race within our movement must begin with the candid recognition that Earth First! is a predominantly white movement. Following this recognition, a spring of interesting questions will naturally begin to arise from the curious, anti-racist, environmental activist. “Why are people of color so few in EF!? What patterns are perpetuated within EF! today that inhibit people of color from getting involved, and how can we change this? How can we better illustrate the connection between the struggles of people of color and ecocide? How can attitudes of white domination be dealt with openly and positively? What can I do?”
